Roots of My Creative Journey

I came from a Bengali family and was raised in Calcutta (presently Kolkata). My creative and artistic abilities are deeply rooted in my culture.

My childhood memories are inspired by my mother's admiration of my rough pencil sketches adorning our home walls and my mesmerizing sight of her skillfully crafting Kantha blankets, each stitch telling a unique story of the Royal Bengal Tiger, mythology or nature.

My parents exposed me to fine arts, cultural music, literature and technology very early.

Therefore, While my friends buried themselves in textbooks, I was drawn to painting watercolor before my maths exam and practicing Rabindra sangeet, which made me eternally happy.

I soon realized that these pursuits weren't just hobbies; they were a manifestation of the creative energy coursing through me, guiding me on a path of self-discovery and expression.

I explore creative ways to mix sketching and painting styles, read books, watch UX-related videos, listen to my mom talking about her cooking recipes, explore different music and languages, observe nature, people and study the world.
